Diocese of Indianapolis Event: The Indiana Experience

The centerpiece of our diocesan hosting experience at General Convention 2012 is our special event at Victory Field on Sunday, July 8, noon to 4 p.m.  This celebratory event will encompass the music, food, history, culture, and flavor of life in Indiana.  Most importantly, it will celebrate all of the partnerships we share with the Dioceses of Bor, Brasilia, and Haiti.

To make this a success and we have several activities planned and we need help, both financial and otherwise so that we can shine as a diocese and to show the important work that we do.

Welcome! Visitor Info

The Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association is proud to bring you "For You From Me," featuring the music of Indiana's own Jon McLaughlin. The song, off Jon's current release aptly titled "Indiana," speaks to our eagerness to share our city with visitors. The video was shot in Indianapolis and showcases the best of what the city has to offer. No Hands, No Feet But Ours

No Hands, No Feet But Ours

A Prayer

Lord Christ, You have no body on earth but ours, No hands but ours, No feet but ours. Ours are the eyes through which your compassion must look out on the world. Ours are the feet by which you may still go about doing good. Ours are the hands with which You bless people now. Bless our minds and bodies, that we may be a blessing to others

Teresa of Avila (1515–1582)
