Education for Ministry (EFM) is a four-year program of theological education by extension of the School of Theology of the University of the South at Sewanee, TN. The program is designed for the laity of the church to provide participants with basic knowledge of the Christian faith. Every Christian is called to Christ's ministry by baptism. Through study, theological reflection and worship, participants gain a fuller understanding of what it means to respond to God's call and to make connections between Christian faith and daily life. The curriculum includes study of the Old and New Testaments, church history, theology, ethics and contemporary issues.

The cost is $340 per year with scholarship assistance available from the Diocese.
